Evenfall Drive is a release lost in time. This compilation release is the culmination of material that began life during the 'Eventide Passage' album cycle.

Jump to 2022 and the tenth anniversary of 'Eventide Passage'. To commemorate the tenth anniversary of the third full-length Off Land album, the Offlandia vaults have been opened. 'Eventide Passage' (2012) is the first in a cycle of connected releases, continuing with 'Overlook' (2012), 'Overtide Recon' (2013), and '(Drone Variations) Vol. V' (2019), in which 'Evenfall Drive' explores each in great detail. Tracks here have been newly mixed, mastered, and in some cases enhanced from the initial recordings. Much of 'Evenfall Drive' was uncovered while working on a couple projects for 'Eventide Passage' that never materialized past the concept phase, including an EP for 'Slow' and an 'Eventide' boxset.

To complete the release and for the purpose of proper archiving, each track contains additional information about the recording process from inception to its final release.

Formed in 2004 by Tim Dwyer, Off Land is influenced by music such as Javanese gamelan, ambient techno, and meditative drone. Woah, what comp! Every track on here is deserving of attention. But this one track stood out to me the most. The Lying Children seem to have a unique sound, its very intriguing! It was also nice hearing vocals on a ambient track! Defiantly going to look more into these guys! I Walked Bob Dylan On Stage!
